The Children's Zoo at
the Southern Nevada Zoological - Botanical Park exhibits a interesting variety of
endangered cats as well as the last family of Barbary apes in the United States,
chimpanzees, eagles, emus, flamingos, large exotic reptiles, ostriches, talking parrots,
wallabies, and "every" species of venomous reptile native to Southern Nevada.
In addition, the zoo features an exhibit by
the Las Vegas Gem Club and botanical displays of endangered cycads and rare bamboo's.
Open Daily 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
General admission is $5.95
