Red Rock National
Conservation Area, is one of the hidden secrets of Las Vegas, located only 16 miles west
of city. Travel west on Charleston Boulevard about 20 minute drive will
deliver you into one of the most gorgeous areas in the world. The Bureau of Land
Management operates a "Visitors' Center" at Red Rock Canyon. On display
are plant, animal and desert life.
For your additional
viewing delight, take the drive around the 13 mile scenic loop. This drive takes you
through the colorful red rocks, mixed with the unique beautiful desert scenery.

Visitors are often treated to natures wonders such as see desert wildlife ranging
from burros to bighorn sheep wandering among the valleys and canyons.
