| The Las Vegas National
Wildlife Refuge is located six miles southeast of Las Vegas and consists of 8,672 acres of
grassland, cropland, marshes, ponds, forested canyons and streams. |

The refuge provides a habitat for migratory birds, hawks, Sandhill cranes, eagles and
waterfowl.
