Lake Havasu State Park,
which shares its namesake with Cattail Cove State Park, is an adventurer's delight with
beautiful beaches, boat ramps and campsites along the lakeshore. Lake Havasu, formed when they dammed the
Colorado River at the city of Parker, Arizona is a fisherman's heaven. Anglers enjoy
largemouth bass, bluegill and crappie. The park is also a great place for rock
hounds, volcanic rock, geodes, jaspers, obsidian, turquoise and agate are found near Lake
Havasu City.
In 1971, they brought over stone by
stone and reconstructed the London Bridge on the Colorado River. Lake Havasu's
London Bridge forms the central focus of a modern "Old English Village" on the
shore of the lake. Dozens of shops and cafes line the shore of this man-made lake north of
Parker Dam. Boating, fishing and many other water sports are available.

include the campground, beach, launch ramps, docks, picnic tables, grills, trails, group
use areas, restrooms and showers.
Distance from Las Vegas is only
150-miles to Lake Havasu and the world famous London Bridge. The 46-mile-long desert
lake is a great visitor attraction.
