I have taken the bus tour and it was great. I paid about $90
per person including all taxes and surcharges. The next time I
come back to VEgas, March, I am going again. So I guess any price
under $90 would be good for me. Roger L. Houston TX
My family has always wanted to see the Grand Canyon but with six of
us the cost is pretty much out of our reach. Maybe I could swing
$40-$50 per person but I realize with the cost of gasoline going up I am
sure there a lot of costs to operate one of those luxury buses.

I would pay $100 for my wife and I to see the grand canyon.

13 hours seems like a long time, but considering food stops, seeing
the Dam, and several other photo stops at the Grand Canyon plus drive
time i guess that would be a full day. If the cost was in the $75
or less it would have my interest. I dont think I would pay $160.

The trip to the grand canyon is something I always wanted to do.
For me the price would need to be low so that I could buy a couple
souvenirs of the experience. I am a school teacher on a tight
budget but it would be worth the savings. Ann Illinois
I agree with the others already posted on here...you've got to keep
the cost well under $99 to make it seem worthwile. I don't know if I
would take a 14 hour trip to see the canyon by bus, but if that's offset
by a really cheap price, then you can easily disguise the long travel
time with the ruse of saving tons of money taking the bus instead of
doing the trip on your own! Stephan Doiron

I think a buy one get one at half price would be enticing.

I think the price they are chargeing now is ok. They put about
50 people on one of those busses, 50 people times $180.00 comes to
$9000.00 a trip.To me it sounds like they are makeing way too much for
that trip.But I guess if you don't have a car out there, $180.00 isn't
bad. The Grand Cayon is about the neetest thing to see ,anywhere in the
world. steve sedalia,mo.
13-14 hours on a bus and you call that a vacation. you couldn't pay
me enough to take this trip. a 5 hour plane ride to vegas is long enough
for me. to take that bus trip for lunch(which probably is a sandwich and
snack) and get to take some photos and spend 12-13 hours on a bus, well
no thank you. ralph hamden, ct
I have considered taking this trip several times on past visits to
Vegas. It is'nt the cost that has held me from it but the Long bus ride
and tieing up the entire day. Since the canyon IS something I'd really
like to experience while on this earth, possibly right around $100 would
entice me to go ahead and give it a try. Eddie Schulz

I've been to the Grand Canyon several times. Have done it by coach,
coach/helicopter and coach/airplane (South Rim and West Rim). The best
price is for the coach/airplane combination with bus tour + flight over
the Grand Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam etc: 200/250$. But the
bus-only tour has a lot of charm too, you're driving partly on Route 66,
through the desert, the Joshua trees, stopping at Hoover Dam, Williams,
AZ. I think 100/120 $ would be a right price for this one.
