boy this subject really bothers me. just yesterday i was at a local taco bell and decided to eat lunch in the parking lot. as i was i noticed a car not far from me open its back window, maybe for some air i thought, no, no to throw out the wrappers was why. being an old hippie as i am i always throw trash in bins. to me someone who does this and is seen should face a fine. make it $100. this may teach them to keep our planet clean. it will be hard to uphold as police have enough to do.  ralph  hamden,ct

People who litter the streets of Las Vegas should be fined a minimum of $100.00 for the first offense and each additional offense there should be $50.00 added. After the third offense, there should be jail time along with the fine. I just hate it when someone throws stuff out the window of their car. They have no respect for anyone, and should be punished accordingly. I think a fine of $100 is the way to go. Maybe someone will think twice before they throw stuff out of the window, again.  Steven Tillinger
