* I seem to be playing poker now and five years ago I was
afraid to even enter the poker area of a casino. Rebecca D.

* Yes, each Vegas trip I spend about half my
time playing poker instead of blackjack. Donald S. FL
* I am not a poker player. Never was and
probably never will be. When I sit down to play blackjack, three card
poker or any of the other tables games I know what the odds are and I am
playing against the house. In poker I would be playing against unknowns.
Besides, I can't stop grinning when I get a good hand. Richard Pinter

* Texas Hold'em is slightly over-rated
and just being over-exposed in general. One can catch some sorta Texas
Hold'em tournament nearly every single day on TV, particularly of one
has a satellite or cable connection. Like the Rubik's Cube and Hoola-Hoop,
Texas Hold'em it will die a quick death with all the over-exposure it's
receiving. Don Oremus Caldwell, ID
* I still stick to 3-Card Poker and
Roulette. Slots are also on my list. When I'm in Vegas I don't want to
have to think that much so I just like to play on-line for fun. Although
I never miss it on TV. sue south beloit
* I used to play only 7 card stud on our
three weeks a year at H.G.V.Club.(since'95).Now it is very difficult to
find anything but Hold'em. At 72,I was surprised to find it easier to
win at Hold'em! (My wife,76,is a good slots player.) We love LV, and we
meet some very nice people at the tables-in all these years I have had
aggravation only once, when a player abused a dealer-who couldn't answer
back, of course. I offered to give him a good hiding, which he declined.
See you in August, Guys! Tony Fowler Hunmanby Gap

* I still prefer the casino games. I
feel they are a safer game - more even. In Hold'em I do not feel I match
up well against other players. Rod Skinner Pittsburgh
* Even with all the press for the
Texas Hold'em I still prefer my favorite table game, roulette. With
poker it takes too long to accumulate a great deal of winnings unless
you are making very large bets. I can stack my favorite numbers and is
they hit, get a large amount at once. With roulette I can lose big, but
if I win I can win big too. Liz Buchanan

* Usually I do not play more texas
Holdem when visiting vegas because it usually is with my husband who
does not play so I have to play far less so he will take me to vegas
more often. paula stull texas city
