Bad location, what are they thinkin right in the middle of the
strip. Traffic is going to get worse if thats possible. I visit 3 times a year and have learned
to cercomvent the strip whenever I can. Can you imagine the traffic added to an allready bumper
to bumber road. And not to mention they have no team lined up. Hello! Unless they have a plan
for a parking area and I'm thinking they do,the suits had to discuss this over there coffe and

I'm from Philadelphia and live close to the Eagle's statium, the
Phillies's statium, the Wachovia Ctr. and the old Spectrum. I can assure you that traffic will be
a bigger mess in your beautiful city (I've been there 9 times) than anyone can fanthom. The only
possible good senerio I can see would be if the majority of attendees at any event were visitors
using cabs or walking...however, I don't see that happening with the locals wanting to support

No matter where they build a sports arena it will be againt traffic
mess! one solution is to have all streets one way with all entrances & exits being right turns

This is a bad idea. Traffic along the Strip crawls and comes to a
near halt whenever there is a major event held in Las Vegas. A professional team will need to draw
atleast 15,000 in attendence each home game to surrive. This means more overcrowding to an already

Seriously, do we need another venue? MGM and Thomas & Mack aren't

Las Vegas has the Monorail running on that side of the strip
currently and I hear that it is going to be expanded to the airport. If they build an off-site
parking in an area that would not cause any conjestion, with shuttles to and from, along with

Look at the traffic plan for any other 20,000 seat arena in the
country. Like a shopping mall at Christmas, the traffic plan allows "circulation" to keep cars
moving while people come and go from the flow. The trick here will be to keep the flow away from
The Strip, and work it between Koval, Flamingo, Paradise, and Harmon/Tropicana. The I-15 exits
at Flamingo and Tropicana will be important, as will adding lanes to Harmon and Koval. They need

It seems to me there is a high potential for so much traffic you
will utlimately irritate tourism which may have a tendency to reduce visitors & therby reducing
spending they bring. Put the arena further away from the strip & just use a new monorail. That

I have been to sold out events at the Grand Garden and traffic was
no worse than a Saturday on the strip. Hopefully a monorail station will be attached. Greg
Who cares? I do not normally drive when I come to LV. To me it will
be just like another large convention gathering. I do feel for the locals that come to the strip
to gamble. The closer the better for me if I decide to take in a game while I am here. Doug
